Meet: Revlon Tropical Temptation

This is the kind of color that I love to buy. A pretty coral with a little tiny hint of pink. I absolutely love this color. I have several similar color to this that I tend to wear a lot, so I would safely say this is my go to color.

Nail Art: Revlon Golden Charm and Sally Hansen Sea Breeze

Here I am with my Revlon polishes again! I have been wanting a gold metallic or glitter polish for a while. I had finally found a perfect one from Big Lots, I immediately picked it up. This polish is a gold metallic, and it is exactly what I was looking for. I paired it with a teal color from Sally Hansen Insta-dry. I absolutely love the formula on both of these polishes, especially from the Insta-Dry. It is a one coater, so pigmented and smooth. I should really pick up some more colors from this line, as I only have one other blue color and it applies like a dream as well.

Since my nails got longer and I love how the gold and teal look together, I decided to put them together for a cute manicure. This was very easy, all I did was apply the gold as normal, and after it dries, carefully apply the teal polish on top. no need to use fancy tape or anything, just go very slowly and follow your natural cuticle line.

Today is my graduation ceremony! I can't believe I'm done with school forever. I picked up 5 polishes for a little graduation present for 5 of my good friends that helped me through school. I tried to get colors with their personality in mind. So these are the colors that I picked up. Aren't they pretty all lined up like that?

Meet: Revlon Temptress and Sally Hansen Glass Slipper

Revlon Temptress is a standard baby pink. It has tiny simmers in the polish that I am not crazy about. The formula for this color was not great, but I have always had bad experiences with colors like this, so I wasn't surprised. I tried to spice this up a little by topping it with one coat of Glass Slipper, which is a clear polish with white shimmery flakies. What do you think?

Haul: 5/5/12

Today I had some time to go shopping. I went to Walgreens first because I wanted to pick up some more Wet n' Wild polishes since they were $1. When I got there, there were no signs indicating that they were on sale. So I had to ask the nice lady at the counter, and she gladly priced checked for me. They were indeed $1(or was it $.99?). She then proceeded to tell me that the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength are a great deal this week. Since they were buy one get one 50% + 3 $1 coupons, they ended up being only $3.50 for 2! She even showed me a page in a magazine giving them rave reviews. I happily picked out two bottles that caught my eye.

Next I headed to Big Lots. They had 2 pack Revlon polishes for $2! I picked up 3 packs, so total of 6 polishes.

914 Tropical Temptation, 168 Temptress, 185 Lilac Pastelle, 120 Hushed Blush, Carbonite,  Black with Envy
I have to admit, There are some colors I wouldn't have gotten if they did not come in a pack. like Hushed blush and Black with Envy. But I am totally in love with the pastel colors (left three). I would have gladly paid $2 each for them, so It's kind of a bonus =).

Group shot! =D

Water bottle swatch

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this. But I always like to swatch my new polishes right when I get home. I always have empty water bottles laying around my room. So it's becoming a habit of mine to swatch my polishes on them.

Hope you liked my haul. I can't wait to try them on my nails! Swatches will be posted soon, please come back and check them out.
